This policy explains how the Northeast Control Dashboard handles data. The application is operated by Chioffe Technology LLC, doing business as Northeast Control. It is an internal financial tool used by the owner of the business to view cash, receivables, and job status in one place.
The application is single user and internal. The only person who connects an account and views data is the business owner. We do not offer this application to the public and we do not create accounts for outside users.
When you connect QuickBooks Online, the application reads accounting data from your company file. In practice that means open invoices and the fields tied to them, such as customer name, invoice number, amounts, and due dates. Access is read only. The application never writes to, edits, or deletes anything in QuickBooks.
The data is used only to display your financial status inside the dashboard, for example receivables aging and cash position. It is not used for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond showing you your own numbers.
Data is stored locally in a database on hardware controlled by Northeast Control. It is not sent to any outside server. The connection tokens for QuickBooks are also stored locally and are used only to refresh access to your company file.
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with anyone. The only outside party involved is Intuit, the provider of QuickBooks Online, which is the source of the data and which governs that data under its own terms.
The application runs on a private network and is not exposed to the public internet. Access tokens are kept in the local database and refreshed automatically. If a connection is revoked or expires, the application clears the stored token and asks the owner to reconnect.
Synced data and connection tokens remain in the local database until you remove them. Using the disconnect control in the application deletes the stored QuickBooks tokens and the synced invoice data. You can also delete the local database file at any time to remove all stored data.
